Following successful launches in Colina, El Bosque and Renca, the radioplay “It’s enough” is entering the final editing, post production and broadcast stage. More than 150 people attended the launches, and in each one the audience heard an extract of the programme created by the host group.

Participants spoke of their experience in the process, and reiterated their firm commitment to raising community awareness about violence against women.

Our new radio play “It’s enough” is ready to be launched. Three launches will take place this week to officially thank all the participants for their outstanding work in the writing and recording of the programmes in the radio play. Editing continues in readiness for the inaugural broadcast in January.

Friends, families, representatives of community and government organisations will come together to celebrate the launch of this radio play that expresses the voice of the community, calling for an end to violence against women.

We thank all those involved – the women and adolescent girls brought together by Casa Lywen in Renca, the women of the El Bosque Women’s Refuge, and our colleagues in the FÉNIX and ILUSIONES theatre groups in Colina – for speaking out, for writing down their emotions, for generously committing their time, to make this radioplay a sincere voice against the mindless brutality of gender violence.
